Corthodoxfee 11

When you have coffee,
You have hospitality;
To open the door for strangers,
To welcome the others;
In your home,
In your heart.

From one seed of coffee bean,
comes chats so genuine!

Coffee builds community--
Sit with coffee lover,
Hold a cup of coffee;
Every topic will run better.

Death and resurrection.
Life after death.
Work after rest.
Isn't it like tasting the bitter of coffee without sugar?

So bitter.
So dark.
Death.

Yet after you drink it up,
you come up with bright view!
You can stay awake.
Your heart beats faster.
You feel life.
Resurrection!

Corthodoxfee 7

As told in Ethiopian folklore that after Kaldi, the goatherd, discovered ripe berries, he brought to priests, but the priests threw them away to the fire at once thinking them hellish fruits, nevertheless the burnt beans brought about some good smells, and that was the beginning of a heavenly beverage that used to accompany priests during vigils.  So, it is not uncommon for modern day pastors and theologians who stay up late in the evenings to be near by a cup of coffee!

Corthodoxfee 6

When you love coffee
but you haven't got a cup of it during the day,
you'd find that something is lost.
That's exactly the same way with G*d.
When you love him/ her,
but you do not keep close to him/ her,
something has been lost.
Everyone needs the Real.

Corthodoxfee 5

Sipping a robusta coffee . . .
well, good smell,
high acidity
yet low in taste.

The arabica is the opposite:
medium smell,
low acidity
but good in taste.

I like arabica, though.
Guess what, however, if you make a good mix,
you will get a cup of coffee with great taste and smell!
Isn't it so with Christianity--
that to blow a war trumpet intra-Christian body
means ignorance of self-weaknesses?

We need others,
since none is perfect in itself.
Would anyone be self-content?

Corthodoxfee 4

Coffee is inspiration!

Corthodoxfee 3

Truth is like coffee
whether you like or not,
coffee is there.
If you like it,
you never like all kinds of coffee.
In Indonesia we have different kinds of coffee--
perhaps you love Toraja than Mandhaeling.
You taste the difference.
But what makes coffee real coffee is your choice!

A repost from my Facebook note (June 18, 2010):

In East Africa, popular lore gives Kaldi the goatherd credit for discovering coffee. He saw adult goats cavorting just like the kids after eating a strange shrub. Kaldi brought the berries to the monastery where the abbot threw them into the fire thinking them to be of the devil. This released of heavenly coffee aroma, and the berries were rescued. [Accordingly,] since it allowed the monks to remain alert during the devotions, it was viewed as a divine gift.
Thanks to goats for giving inspiration to make neat the enormously amazing beans. Without goats, life would be very miserable for all coffee lovers. Yes, without goats the best beverage of the world would not be discovered.

I recall a memory of my seminary years. My psychological professor said that when he had gone to heaven, the very first persons he would meet to be the discoverer of coffee. Well, if I meet him someday, I will say, "Sir, I bet you have to meet the goats, and say thanks to them!"

Yea, how could I not say it: "Thanks, Goat!"?

Corthodoxfee 1

"Do you believe in God?"
Is the question different to "Do you drink coffee?"
Some of us loves coffee very much,
to drinking cups of it everyday.
Some just drink once a day.
Some are just so and so.
Some get problems in drinking it
due to digestive problems.
Not few hate it!
What is the heart of the matter?
Taste?
Or, preference?
You decide, Folks!

Introduction

"Corthodoxfee"
is a kind of neologism,
or a hybrid word
to describe the way of being orthodox
by meditating truth through coffee;
the way of truth is the way of coffee;
to claim truth is like to claim coffee;
to defend truth is to defend coffee;
to debate on truth is to debate on coffee;
there is no other Real but coffee.
